Dr. Gort hand grinds, polishes and tests with the latest interferometric techniques astronomical lenses and mirrors up to 25 cm
Dr. Gort restores antique brass and wood telescope tubes, mounts, and optics.
Visual Astronomy
At the telescope eyepiece, for the joy and wonder of the universe.
Observational Astrophysics
Spectroscopy and high speed occultation photometry are two areas of current interest.
Outreach
A private observatory welcoming the public for free tours and observing sessions.
